through the lens, that my whole life would revolve around cameras in one shape or another.</div> <bR> <div> After working in many facets of the industry, I now find myself engulfed in image making on a daily basis as a full time professional photographer.</div> <bR> <div> I shoot only digital, although I still own 35 mm and medium format cameras, and love the creative licence that it gives to me.</div> <bR> <div> I can now take control of my images from the press of the shutter to the final “concept” through the use of computer technology and like all artists take creative control of lighting, modifying and altering the images to suit composition and balance.</div> <bR> <div> Although I am heavily involved in the transportation industry taking conceptual images of trucks, heavy machinery and cars on a daily basis, I have a keen interest in landscapes, still life, nature and people photography, as well as a love of hot air balloon photography.</div> <bR> <div> My favourite people images are using “Rembrandt” lighting with lots of heavy light and shade and landscapes are again using late afternoon and early morning light for mood.</div> <bR> <div> Having been involved in Newspapers equally as long as photography, I have a passion for photojournalism/reportage but unfortunately cannot devote the time necessary to follow this passion through - Photographic Artist - </B><B>Artist Profile</B></div> <bR> <div> Born and raised on a mainly dairy farm in Pine Mountain, I have a deep appreciation of the Australian environment, particularly landscape, insects and plants.</div> <div> I first became interested in photography in my teens with the purchase of a Petri SLR camera which took wonderfully sharp pictures.  I was disappointed when it stopped working and the replacement was not as good.  My involvement waned over the next decade as study and career took precedence over leisure activities.</div> <div> With a change of lifestyle, I again became more motivated to capture the images around me.  I have been challenged to go outside of my natural instincts by the monthly subject set by our local Ipswich Photographic Society of which I am a member.</div> <div> I have no formal training, but have an apt tutor in my husband, Tom who has many years experience and teaches photography and Photoshop as a sideline to his business venture -
